SRX23363297: RNA-seq of Huh7 cells infected with HCV for 3 days and treated with RNAseR
1 ILLUMINA (Illumina NovaSeq 6000) run: 39M spots, 11.8G bases, 4.6Gb downloads

Design: Total RNA from infected Huh7 cells was extracted using TRIzol reagent and then treated with RNase R.
Submitted by: Stanford University
Study: Transcriptome of hepatitis C virus (JFH-1 strain)-infected Huh7 cells
show Abstracthide Abstract
The cytoplasmic hepatitis C viral RNA genome has been shown to be processed into hundreds of circular RNAs. Some of these circular RNAs contain the viral internal ribosome entry site and are translated to yield novel viral peptides which display proviral functions. Other nontranslated viral circular RNAs also enhance viral RNA abundances, suggesting that they can be targeted in antiviral approaches.
